What is the difference between an exterior passage door and a dutch door? An exterior passage door is a door for people to enter and exit the barn which looks like a dutch door but is not split in the middle. A dutch door is split in the middle with chew guard over the split and is used on the exterior wall of a stall to enable the horse to go in and out of a paddock or run-out area.
